Abichon Chandrasen

Dr.Chandrasen holds a Ph.D. in Law from Australian National University in Australia, an LL.M. in Corporate/Commercial Law from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in UK, and an LL.B. (First Class Honors) from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. He is currently a legal counsel at the Law Reform Division, the Council of State, Thailand. He is responsible for designing the country’s Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) process, as well as assisting the secretary of the Company Law Drafting Committee. He is also a legal secretary to the Minister Attached to the Office of the Prime Minister (Dr.Kobsak Pootrakul) and manager of the “Regulatory Guillotine Project: Simple and Smart Licenses” where the main theme of his tasks in these capacities is to reduce legal and regulatory burdens borne by Thai people and local businesses. Moreover, Dr. Chandrasen has also been a part-time lecturer at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand since 2016. His research interests include Regulation, Regulatory Impact Assessment, Enforcement, Corruption and Fraud Deterrence, Societal Factors and Law, and Legal Empirical Research.

Anongrath Konglarp

Ms.Konglarp, a Presiding Judge of the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court, earned her Master of Laws degree in International and Comparative Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, USA. She also obtained certificates of participation in various programs such as Intellectual Property and International Trade Law from Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Switzerland, and Restorative Justice from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. With 20 years of judicial experience, she has recognized that one of the critical legal problems is that the right of crime victims is neglected as the concept of Criminal Justice generally treats the accused or the wrongdoer as the main focus of each case. As a result, the criminal system tends to pay attention to protecting the right of the wrongdoers rather than that of the victims. Apart from her career, she has also been the sub-committee member for driving task force on the United Nations Model Strategies and Practical Measures on the Elimination of Violence against Children in the Field of Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, the Court of Justice, for the past 4 years.

 

Arthit Suriyawongkul

Mr.Suriyawongkul is a Co-Founder and Board Secretary of Foundation for Internet and Civic Culture (Thai Netizen Network);a group that advocates for the protection and advancement of civil rights that are connected to the digital environment. His work currently focuses on privacy and security of the network and information system. Mr.Suriyawongkul earned his M.Sc. in Cognitive Science and Natural Language at the University of Edinburgh, UK in 2004, and an M.A. in Anthropology at Thammasat University, Thailand in 2014. For the past few years as an adjunct lecturer at renowned universities in Thailand, he has been responsible for developing curriculum and overseeing a course on computer ethics and law, as well as developing and overseeing seminar courses on digital media and culture. Apart from digital rights work and university teaching, he has also been working as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) product owner for Wisesight (Thailand) Co., Ltd since 2017.

With 8 years of extensive engagement in public policy together with trainings in AI and anthropology, Mr.Suriyawongkul has a deep understanding of how machine and human interact in a society.

Attasit Pankaew

Assistant Professor Pankaew is an Assistant to the Rector for Corporate Communications, Department of Political Science at Thammasat University, Thailand. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from Georgia State University, USA. In 2010, he was a project manager and a lead researcher at Thailand Political Database (TPD), where he participated in the drafting of Thailand’s Political Development Plan. He attempted to highlight the importance of fact-based political solutions which, in turn, enhances transparency. As a political scientist and a university lecturer, Asst.Prof.Pankaew initiated several research projects with ‘political openness through information accessibility’ as the overarching theme. He currently shifts his research interest toward the utilization of big data in political research to enhance people’s political awareness and drive a policy change to cope with the digital future.

 

Aurachorn Inkanuwat

Mrs.Inkanuwat is a Managing Director of SkinLab Asia Co., Ltd., a clinical testing laboratory for cosmetics and supplements. In December 2018, she is expecting to graduate with a Ph.D. in Technopreneurship and Innovation Management from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Mrs.Inkanuwat also earned her MBA in Marketing from Assumption University and a Master of Science in Pharmacology from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Apart from her business, she has also been working as a volunteer lay judge of the Juvenile and Family Court in Samutsongkram, Thailand since 2011. For the past seven years as a volunteer lay judge, she has witnessed the obstacles juveniles face in overcoming their criminal profiles after they have already completed the reconciliation program, and therefore is keen on discussing the reconciliation policy in the workshop in order to address the issue and investigate on how the collaboration between the Juvenile and Family Court, the Department of Juvenile Observation and Protection, and the Royal Thai Police can be improved.

 

Bhume Bhumiratana

Dr.Bhumiratana is a researcher, educator and practitioner in Cybersecurity. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis in 2009, with specialization in Application Security Design, Privacy Design and Implementation, and Modern Cryptography. His industry consulting experience includes having served as a Principle Consultant at a leading IT company in Thailand, where he created a new business unit focusing on security consulting solutions. He built and managed teams of cybersecurity researchers, consultants and implementers specialized in products in the areas of Advance Authentication Technology, Machine Learning and Big-Data for Cybersecurity. For the past three years, he has served as a technology advisor for the Security and Exchange Commissioner Office, Thailand (SEC), providing advice and consultation in many areas of technology such as Cybersecurity, Blockchain, FinTech, RegTech, and other uses of technology. His other roles include Thai FinTech Association advisor, and advisor for several leading businesses in Cybersecurity and Blockchain. He also currently serves as a Committee member of the National Cybersecurity Preparedness Commission, where he is responsible for advising the government on cybersecurity related laws, policies and strategies.

 

Catalina Gil Pinzón

Ms.Pinzón is currently a consultant of Global Drug Policy Program, Open Society Foundations (OSF) in Columbia where she is mainly responsible for providing strategic technical support on the coordination, design and implementation of the Latin American regional strategy. One of her latest achievements was the design and implementation of the International Meeting of Women in Drug Crop Cultivation Areas. Ms.Pinzón holds a master degree in development studies specializing in Conflict Reconstruction and Human Security from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands. With 10 years of academic and professional experience in the areas of peacebuilding and development, she has worked on the reintegration of ex-combatants, youth violence, historical memory, peaceful resolution of conflicts, and drug policy.

Chontit Chuenurah

Ms.Chuenurah is a Chief of Program on the Implementation of the UN Bangkok Rules, Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ). Over the past years, she has been working at the TIJ to promote the rights of incarcerated persons through policy advocacy and evidence-based research in Thailand and the ASEAN region. As part of her work, she supervises several research projects including gender and imprisonment, women prisoners and the implementation of the UN Bangkok Rules in the ASEAN region, national survey of female inmates, pathways to imprisonment of female and male prisoners in Thailand and pathways of Thai female prisoners convicted of drug trafficking in Cambodia. She also played an important role in developing the annual regional training programme on the “Management of Women Prisoners in the ASEAN Region,” which was launched by the TIJ in 2016. Ms.Chuenurah is a Thai Chevening scholar, graduated with an M.Sc. in Social Policy and Social Research from the University of Southampton in 2011.  She also received an LL.M. in Criminal Justice from the University of Kent in UK and an LL.B. in General Law from Thammasat University, Thailand.

 

Chularat Niratisayakul

Ms.Niratisayakul is currently Director General & CEO of The Biodiversity-based Economy Development Office (BEDO), Government agency under the Ministry of National Resources and Environment of Thailand where she is responsible for supporting the development of biodiversity-based businesses and promoting sustainable utilization of natural resources. She received her MPS in International Agriculture and Rural Development from Cornell University, USA, and an M.Sc. in Agricultural Extension from Kasetsart University, Thailand. And with 16 years of experience as a journalist and a TV and radio broadcaster in the area of agricultural development together with over a decade of experience as a policy advisor, which includes serving as an advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment for 5 years followed by 3 years as an Acting Secretary General of the Office of Farmers’ Rehabilitation and Development Fund whose main aim was to help groups of farmers become self-reliant and deal with debt problems, Ms.Niratisayakul has learned that despite Thailand’s considerable biodiversity the national policy on biodiversity-based development is still unmet and would like to take this opportunity at the TIJ workshop to initiate policy for fair and equitable sharing of benefits from biodiversity-based businesses.

 

Elisa Konomi

Ms.Konomi earned her M.Sc. Finance-Accounting from the University of Tirana, Albania. During the four years of her economic studies, she learned how to focus on solving problems, develop analytical skills and enhance creativity. She currently works as a Project Manager at ProYouth Organization where she is in charge of policies implementation and overseeing the preparation of financial reports. Her previous experience includes working as a specialist at Tirana local office real estate at the protocol section and a Manager at Saving and Credit Union “UniFin”. In 2017, MsKonomi was awarded First Prize EU Policy HUB at the Start-Up National competition in Albania, First Prize Winner at Ecovolis Short Story National competition, Cooperation Award at Nantes Creative Generation forum in France, and also was a finalist at A Sea of Words International Writing competition in Barcelona. Ms. Konomi is interested in socio-economic policies, innovation and youth projects. She hopes to become one of tomorrow’s economic policies contributors in Albania.

 

Erick Komolo

Dr.Komolo is an accomplished legal practitioner from Kenya with 10 years combined experience in law and policy development in public and private sectors, and currently a Residential Fellow at the Institute for Global Law & Policy (IGLP) at Harvard Law School. He has worked and consulted in these areas in Kenya, the Far East and the Americas. He currently runs his private law practice based out of Nairobi, Kenya, where he litigates mostly public law cases. Dr.Komolo has delivered on complex legal reports and worked with minorities and indigenous communities in South America in the areas of mining law and natural resource governance. Since 2016, he has also been Founder & Partner of Dr.Komolo & Partners Advocates, responsible for undertaking specialized public and private sector consultancy assignments in Environmental Law, Property Theory, Minority Rights’ Litigation, Human Rights, Natural Resource Management, Fisheries & Marine Law, and International Trade/WTO Law. Dr.Komolo holds a Ph.D. in Laws from the University of Hong Kong (2016) and obtained his LL.M. from Kent Law School, U.K. in 2010 where he was a Commonwealth Scholar.

Glenn Fajardo

Mr.Fajardo is the Director of Co-Design Practice, TechSoup Global Network–a group consisting of leading civil society organizations in 70 countries that has reached more than 1 million NGOs and delivered more than USD10.1 billion in technology tools and philanthropic services. In collaboration with partners, Mr.Fajardo developed international remote co-design methods that span geographic and cultural boundaries, while advancing projects of strategic value. Since 2014, he has also been co-teaching various classes at Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school) at Stanford University, USA. Mr.Fajardo has extensive experience in social impact technology and policy including helping people be creative together when they are far apart and from different cultural contexts. Mr. Fajardo obtained his Master degree in Public Policy from University of California, Berkeley. He also holds a Bachelor of Science with High Honors in Nuclear Engineering Sciences at University of Florida.

Harleen Kaur

With more than 13 years of experience as a dedicated litigator in the areas of tort, intellectual property, commercial and family matters, Ms. Kaur is skilled in a diverse range of practice areas. Ms. Kaur is currently working as a Project Head of the Victim Support Programme and a trainer at the National Legal Aid Foundation, where she is involved in Legal Aid and specifically in the development. Since 2016, she has also been a Project Head at various NGOs including UNHCR (Refugees), Tenaganita (Migrants), AWAM & WAO (Women’s Welfare), and SIS (Muslim Women & Syariah Law). Moreover, Ms. Kaur was appointed to be a Chairperson at Kuala Lumpur Bar Civil Practice Committee (2013-2015) and Bar Council Kuala Lumpur Legal Aid Centre (2012-2015).

Haval M.-Raoof

Dr.Raoof completed his Ph.D. in Business Law and a master degree in Private General Law from Strasbourg University, France. He also holds two graduate diplomas in Comparative Law from International Faculty of Comparative Law, and the International Institute of Human Rights, Strasbourg. Since 2017, Dr.Raoof has served as an Executive Director at The Kurdistan Regional Legislative Observatory in Erbil, Iraq. From 2007 to 2017, he was a Deputy Rule of Law Coordinator at Office of Provincial Affairs, Regional Reconstruction Team & US Mission Iraq. As an academia, he was a Law School Professor at Erbil University, where he introduced new topics to the curriculum and school structure including humanitarian law, clinical studies, moot court system and the creation of a legal clinic. Dr.Raoof has dedicated his career to Rule of Law (RoL) promotion as the foundation for democracy and sustainable development. Throughout his experience in Iraq, he has witnessed how RoL deficiency allowed for corruption to spread, increased poverty-inequality-injustice and crippled the economy.

Jarun Ngamvirojcharoen

Mr.Ngamvirojcharoen is an AI/data scientist, consultant, advisor, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in software, telecommunications, and financial services industries. He is currently working as a Chief Data Scientist and Vice President of Data Innovation Lab at Sertis, Thailand. He has also been an Advisory Council Member of Thailand National Strategy Drafting Committee (National Competitiveness), where he has been working with the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) to draft 20-year national strategy and roadmap for Thailand. His contribution focuses on digital, data and AI strategy that would enhance Thailand competitiveness. Apart from his career and advisory role, he has also been a columnist for ThaiPublica; writing articles on ‘Data-driven Society’ section since 2017. He received his MBA in Economics, Finance, Marketing, and Quantitative Analysis from Carnegie Mellon University – Tepper School of Business, and a Master of Science in Telecommunications from University of Pittsburgh, USA.

 

Jellie M. Molino

Dr.Molino is a Ph.D. candidate in laws with a full scholarship at University of Turin, Italy. Prior to that, she graduated from the George Washington University Law School, USA with a Master of Laws in Government Procurement and Environmental Law, and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Asian Institute of Management in Philippines. She has extensive academic and practical experience in anti-corruption work and public procurement. In August 2018, Dr.Molino was a visiting professor in Sustainable Public Procurement and Private Public Partnership for Corporate Social Responsibility Topics at International Training Center-International Labor Organization, Italy. From 2012 to 2017, she was Legal Counsel and CSR Advisor at Taal Lake Aquaculture Alliance, Inc., (TLAAI) in Philippines. She was a counsel for intervention in a case that was filed in 2012 on the abolition of fish cage operators in Taal Lake, Philippines.

Jumpon Phansumrit

Mr.Phansumrit is currently an Acting Deputy Director General of the International Affairs Department of the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) of Thailand. His main responsibilities include supervising prosecutors and staff in handling international cooperation on extradition, mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, and the Hague Convention on child abduction as well as overseeing the work of the ASEAN Community Missions Center (ASEAN Center). The ASEAN Center was set up to handle ASEAN works and issues relating to crimes and criminal justice for the OAG. For academic background, Mr.Phansumrit earned his Master of Law from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium, Master of Law in International Legal Studies from American University in USA, and Master of Comparative Jurisprudence from Howard University, USA. Before he pursued his studies abroad, he was admitted to the Thai Bar Association in 1982 and received his LL.B. from Thammasat University and B.A. in Political Science from Ramkhamhaeng University in Thailand.

 

Kriengchai Boonpoapichart

Mr.Boonpoapichart is a Chief Financial Officer at CPALL Public Company Limited, a flagship company of Charoen Pokphand Group’s marketing and distribution business and the largest retailer in Thailand. He is mainly responsible for overseeing the company’s corporate strategy and research, corporate finance, accounting and treasury to support continuous growth of CPALL’s business operation, as well as leading Investor Relations team in communicating and building relationship with global investment community. Earlier in his career, he had working experience in Thai financial market with both Thai and international firms, including ING Barings Securities and the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Mr.Boonpoapichart was granted a scholarship for his Master degree from the Matsushita International Foundation and holds a Master of Business Administration from the International University of Japan, the joint program with Dartmouth College, USA. In 2018, Mr.Boonpoapichart is named “Thailand Best CFO” by Finance Asia.

 

Kritsada Boonchai

Dr.Boonchai has been a researcher specialized in environment, natural resource management and sustainable development issues for over 20 years. He is currently a researcher of Contemporary Peasant Society Research Unit, Social Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He also serves as a manager of Local Development Institute (LDI). The institute mainly focuses its activities in areas of Civil Society Strengthening, Environmental Rehabilitation, Community Business Development, and Advocacy Policy Research Activity. Dr.Boonchai is also a Sub-committee of community rights on natural resources, National Human Right Committee and an Internal Evaluator of Food Security Program at BioThai Foundation. Dr. Boonchai completed his Doctorate degree in Political Science, a Master of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Thammasat University, Thailand.

Kuanruthai Siripatthanakosol

Dr.Siripatthanakosol is currently a National Program Manager for Thailand at International Labour Organization (ILO), Bangkok; Tripartite Action to Protect Migrant Workers from Labour Exploitation (The ILO TRIANGLE in ASEAN Programme). The program is a partnership between the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the Global Affairs Canada (GAC), and the International Labour Organization (ILO). For the past 8 years as the National Project Coordinator, the project has achieved its project outcomes in providing technical supports and assistance to the formulation/amendment of law and policy on labour related issues such as social security, workmen’s compensation and protection measures under national labour law to covering international migrant workers. Through 17 years of professional experience working with various international organizations, and academic and research institutions, Dr.Siripatthanakosol has acquired a vast understanding and expertise on issues related to international labor standards, transnational crime, governance, environment, sustainability and compliance, along with an excellent professional network. Dr.Siripatthanakosol received her Ph.D. in International Law from Newcastle Law School, Newcastle University in UK, an LL.M. from Thammasat University, an LL.M. (with merit) from University of Warwick, an M.A. in Anthropology from Chulalongkorn University, and an M.A. in Political Science from Ramkhamhaeng University, Thailand.

Mariyam Zulfa

Dr.Zulfa is the former Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture, Republic of Maldives from 2010 to 2012, appointed by President Mohamed Nasheed. She was in charge of overall management of the Ministry of Tourism including administrative as well as policy-making duties and advising the President on all matters related to Tourism, Arts & Culture in the Maldives. Since 2012, she has been the Director at Faraway Maldives Pty Ltd. responsible for developing strategic plans, supporting future planning and implementation, and providing legal advice to the Board. Dr.Zulfa, a commercial lawyer and a business owner, completed her Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from Curtin University in Australia, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Victoria College of Law in Melbourne, a Master of Public and International Law from University of Melbourne, MBA from Waikato University in New Zealand, an LL.B. from University of Western Australia, and a B.A. in Urban & Regional Planning from University of South Australia.

Masahiro Ito

Mr.Ito is currently working as an Attorney of Judicial System Department Minister’s Secretariat, Ministry of Justice, Japan. He has been involved in policy development issues concerning law-related education. He was a former Public Prosecutor (government attorney) in various cities in Japan including Tokyo, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, and Yokohama from September 2008 to July 2017. For nearly a decade as a government attorney, Mr. Ito was in charge of investigations and trials in criminal cases. Engaging in crime investigations of organized crime groups has made him aware of the importance of teaching the value of abiding by the rules at an early stage of children education. Mr.Ito completed Bachelor of Laws in 2005 from Osaka University, Japan.

Narudee Kristhanin

Ms.Kristhanin is recognized as Thailand’s one of the most experienced LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) facilitators by the LSP community at the cross-regional level. She is currently a Managing Partner & Director of Inspiration, Eureka International Co., Ltd. and the founder of www.LSPThailand.com. Ms.Kristhanin has 17 years of experience as multi-disciplinary consultant, facilitator, trainer and researcher, contributed to the transformation of individuals and organizations of various size in different industries including banking, automobile, real estate, FMCGs, telecommunication, hospitality & tourism, pharma, and media both in private and public sectors. She helps individuals and organizations reach their insights, unlocking individual’s capability through creative learnings. She is also an adjunct lecturer at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand for both post-graduate and undergraduate levels and serves as Board Committee of Khon Thai Foundation and the Northwestern Alumni Association (Thailand). Ms.Kristhanin earned her M.Sc. in Integrated Marketing from Northwestern University, USA and a B.A. in Communications Arts (First Class Honors) from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

 

Netithorn Praditsarn

Dr.Praditsarn is an Executive Assistant to the CEO of Charoen Pokphand Group (C.P. Group), Co. Ltd. He has also been a Vice President of Group Sustainability and Communications at C.P. Group since 2014. Apart from his career, he has also served as a Deputy Secretary-General of Global Compact Network Thailand (GCNT), a member of the National Parliamentary Subcommittee on Promoting National Image and Protecting Thai Nationals Overseas, and a member of the National Committee on Strategies, Preparation, Monitoring and Evaluation of National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights under Ministry of Justice. Dr.Praditsarn is a former government official at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand from 2005 to 2013 where he worked as Chief of Human Rights Section, Social Division, Department of International Organizations and as the First Secretary of Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland. From 2006 to 2008, he was also a lecturer at Chulalongkorn University and Rangsit University in Thailand for master’s program. Dr.Praditsarn received his Ph.D. in Political Science, M.A. in International Policy Studies, and B.A. honors in International Relations and Economics from Stanford University, USA.

 

Nij Tontisirin

Dr.Tontisirin is currently an assistant professor in urban planning at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University in Thailand. She was a lecturer in Architecture and Planning at Thammasat University from 2003 to 2016. Her academic experience also includes a former teaching assistant at Department of City and Regional Planning and GIS workshop instructor at Cornell University. Dr.Tontisirin received her Bachelor of Architecture (First Class Honors) from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, a Master in Urban Planning from Harvard University, and a Master and a Ph.D. in Regional Science from Cornell University, USA. Her research interests focus on land uses, land regulations, and how these factors affect people’s decisions on usage of their lands. She came to aware that laws and public policies can directly shape people’s well-beings, both economically and socially. Her current research with the Asian Development Bank on land value capture (LVC) in Thailand highlights legal and institutional challenges in implementing the LVC in Thailand in which has made Dr.Tontisirin realize that profound understanding of the rule of law is crucial in successful policy formulation and implementation.

 

Noppanan Jantarachlotorn

Mr.Jantarachlotorn has been a legal counsel at the Office of the Council of State, Thailand for over 10 years. He has also been an instructor in Administrative Law since his appointment in 2015, representing the Office of the Council of State, to visiting students from an international degree program in the Combined Bachelor and Master of Political Science in Politics and International Relations, Thammasat University, Thailand. Moreover, he is also a member of the Working Group on the Implementing Regulatory Reform and Mainstreaming Good Regulatory Practices under the OECD-Thailand Country Programme, Office of the Council of State. From 2016 to 2018, he was a member of the Organic Bill on National Human Rights Commission and the Organic Bill on the Ombudsman Drafting Sub-Commission, Constitution Drafting Commission and a member of the Working Group on Consumer Protection on Real-estate, Office of the Consumer Protection Board. Mr.Jantarachlotorn received a Royal Thai Government scholarship to study at SOAS University of London in UK, where he was awarded LL.M. in Human Rights, Conflict and Justice (with Merit) and Distinction for his dissertation on “Protection of Human Rights through the Constitutional Court”. He also holds a Master of Laws (Tax Law) and a Bachelor of Laws (Second Class Honors) from Thammasat University, Thailand.

Nuttamon Srisamran

Dr.Srisamran is a glaucoma specialist in Thailand who currently serves as a clinical instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Thammasat University and also in the Department of Optometry, Rangsit University in Thailand. She has been appointed as an invited research commentator in Thailand Glaucoma Camp, Thai Glaucoma Society, and an invited lecturer, researcher, and consultant of Alcon Laboratories (Thailand) Ltd., Allergan (Thailand) Ltd., and Novartis (Thailand) Ltd. Her special clinical interests include glaucoma diagnosis, glaucoma progression, glaucoma laser and surgery, visual field testing, pediatric glaucoma, and intraocular pressure. Throughout her career, she was involved in creating various policies including educational curriculum, quality assurance and Joint Commission International hospital accreditation. After completing medical school, diploma of clinical sciences, and ophthalmology residency training at Chulalongkorn University, Dr.Srisamran pursued her postdoctoral glaucoma fellowship at the Hamilton Glaucoma Center, University of California San Diego in USA.

Pabhawan Suttiprasit

Ms.Suttiprasit is an associate judge at The Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court and a lecturer in Business Administration at Sukhothai Thammathiraj Open University.  She also works as a mediator at The Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court and at The Central Tax court. Her areas of expertise include marketing strategy, brand management, brand valuation, intellectual property law specialized in trademark. Apart from her current jobs, she also serves as a foreign affair committee for The Lawyer Council under the Royal Patronage and works as a committee for King Prajadhipok Institute Student Engagement (KPISE) for public charity. In her experience as an associate judge and mediator for almost 10 years, she has shared her knowledge in business and management as technical judgement in intellectual property cases; trademark dilutions, infringements, and international trade cases; international contracts and investments. Ms.Suttiprasit is a Ph.D. candidate at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. She holds a master degree in Marketing (International Program) from Thammasat University and also receives a bar in Law from The Thai Bar under the Royal Patronage. Moreover, she also obtained two bachelor degrees in Business Law and Chemical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

 

Paraj Ratanajaipan

Captain Ratanajaipan is Director of Telecommunication Division, Naval Communication and Information Technology Department, Royal Thai Navy, Thailand, and also a staff officer of Communication and Information Technology Section at Naval Command Center and the Thai Maritime Enforcement Coordination Center (Thai-MECC). Captain Ratanajaipan also worked as a Commanding Officer and an Executive Officer in various warships including H.T.M.S. Sichang, H.T.M.S. Taksin, and H.T.M.S. Khirirat. In 2016, he participated in Advanced Certificate Course in Politics and Governance in Democratic Systems for Executives held by King Prajadhipok’s Institute, Thailand. Captain Ratanajaipan received an M.Sc. in Military Science from College of Strategic Studies, National Defense University, Beijing, China, also an M.Eng in Computer from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, and a B.Sc. in Electronics from Royal Thai Naval Academy, Thailand.

 

Peangpanor Boonklum

Ms.Boonklum is a Senior Executive Vice President/Group General Counsel, Office of General Counsel at the state-owned energy company, PTT Plc., which is a national energy company. She manages her own team of 50 lawyers at the company and oversees another 70 at whole group of companies. Her role includes advising the chief executives on strategic growth and acquisitions as well as reputation management. Moreover, she also seats in the company’s Management Committee, and serves as a director at GPSC Plc., a power flagship, and at PTT Oil & Retail Marketing Plc., an oil and retail marketing flagship, in PTT Group. Apart from her career, she is a special lecturer for MBA Program at Sasin Business School and a regular speaker on corporate governance matters. Prior to her current position, she was an Executive Partner/Senior Counsel at Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners Ltd. Her areas of expertise were capital markets and M&A. Ms.Boonklum has been recognized by reputable legal publishers, including 2018 FT Global and the Legal 500 GC Powerlist Southeast Asia. Ms.Boonklum obtained her LL.B. and LL.M. in Business Law from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, as well as LL.M. from Columbia University, USA.

Pichawadee Kittipanya-ngam

Assistant Professor Kittipanya-ngam is a full-time lecturer in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Management, Social Enterprises, Business Consulting and Corporate Training at Thammasat Business School, Thailand. She is also a founder of Cambridge Babies Social Project in collaboration with Cambridge Thai Foundation. The project offers educational toys for babies, based on the University of Cambridge’s curriculum, and donating part of profits as scholarships for Thai students to study at Cambridge. In addition, Asst.Prof.Kittipanya-ngam has also been a trainer on Social Return On Investment (SROI) to corporates, NGOs, NPOs at Social Value Thailand, an advisor on social impact assessment and SROI at Nise Corporations S.E. Co., Ltd. (Thai Social Enterprise), and a research affiliate on the collaborative research projects for Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge. Asst.Prof.Kittipanya-ngam is a Ph.D. graduate from Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge, UK (fully funded by Cambridge Overseas Trust for tuition fee, Royal Thai Government scholarship for living expenses, and travel grants from the College, Engineering Department, and Royal Academy of Engineering (UK)). She also obtained her bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

 

Pirongrong Ramasoota

Professor Ramasoota received her Ph.D. in Communication from Simon Fraser University in Canada, a M.A. in Communication from University of Hawaii at Manoa, USA, and a B.A. in English (First class honors) from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Prof.Ramasoota is currently a Vice president for Social Outreach and Global Engagement at Chulalongkorn University. She is a communication scholar with interest and expertise in communication policy and regulations, and social implications of information and communication technologies (ICTs). Since completing her post-graduate studies in Canada, she has worked as a lecturer at the Department of Journalism, the Faculty of Communication Arts, Chulalongkorn University, and has embarked upon a new path as a researcher of communication policy. Prof.Ramasoota has been involved in various research projects, local and international, which investigate critical communication policy issues ranging from communication rights, content regulation, community media, freedom of expression, digital privacy to game addiction and hate speech. Moreover, she has also been involved in the commissioning of two communication laws and served as member of the content board for the country’s communication regulator, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC).

Pisate Virangkabutra

Dr.Virangkabutra is currently a lecturer and G-Lab Director at Thammasat University School of Global Studies where he teaches social innovation and design thinking for public services. With his 12 years of experience as a Design Educator, he is well experienced in teaching students from different nationalities and backgrounds. He is also an Adjunct lecturer at Ramkhamhaeng University and at the Department of Industrial Design, King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand. Apart from this, he is also an independent consultant and business owner. He conducts Design Thinking workshops and gives lectures on creative thinking process for various industries ranging from NGOs to Educational institutions. Moreover, he is also a Project Manager for the newly established Government Innovation Center in which he is responsible for creating innovation in government using Design Thinking. Dr.Virangkabutra received his Ph.D. from National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), a M.Sc. in Human Centered Design from King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi, and a Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia.

 

Piyadit Atsavasirisuk

Mr.Atsavasirisuk is Managing Director of the Civil Engineering Co., Ltd.; a general infrastructure contractor with 50 years of experience. He is also a board member of Thai Contractors Association (TCA) under the Patronage of His Majesty the King. Over 15 years of experience in construction industry, he has encountered many challenges in improving the construction industry standards, the competency level to improve the quality of works, the safety practices, the level of resource utilization and optimization, and the tax revenue utilization of the government. Mr.Atsavasirisuk obtained his M.Sc. in Construction Engineering and Management from Stanford University, USA, and a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He also earns the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional by US Green Building Council (USGBC), the parent organization of LEED; which is the most widely recognized and widely used green-building rating system in the world. Moreover, Mr.Atsavasirisuk also participated in various executive courses including Institute of Business and Industrial Development (IBID), Executive Development Program by Thai Listed Company Association (EDP), and Top Executive Program in Commerce and Trade (TEPCoT).

 

Piyawat Sivaraks

As a Deputy Secretary General of the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) Thailand; a government central agency responsible for advising the government and departments on civil service human resource management policy, Dr.Sivaraks’s main responsibilities cover the areas of position classification management, promotion system, civil service HR digital transformation, and civil service HR reform. The formulation of the OCSC’s “Human Resource Strategy to Support the National Strategy and Reform” in particular is the strategy that will serve as a blueprint for change for Thailand’s civil service human resource management system for the next two decades which will conform the National 20-year strategy. Dr.Sivaraks is also the OCSC team leader in preparing scope and agenda for 20th ASEAN Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCSM) as OCSC will assume the role of ACCSM chairmanship from 2018 to 2020. Dr.Sivaraks obtained his Ph.D. and an M.A. in Public Policy from Claremont Graduate School, USA, both fully funded by the Royal Thai government. He also obtained his B.A. in Economics from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

Poramate Minsiri

Mr.Minsiri, a digital media specialist with more than 20 years of experience, is the Managing Director of Bundit Center Co., Ltd. He is also a founder of www.kapook.com; one of the most popular websites in Thailand which attracts more than 30 million visitors a month since 2003. His main responsibilities include managing a team of 160+ employees, developing a rapid experimentation software to gain initial feedbacks for iteration, and implementing strategies for constant improvement of products and services. One of his proud achievements is being a founder of ThaiFlood.com; a social contribution project which he received an IT-princess Award in 2012.  He was also the President of Thai Webmaster Association from 2004 to 2006. Mr.Minsiri is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Digital Media Design at Harvard University Extension School, USA. He also completed an Advance Certificate Course in Public Administration and Law for Executives from King Prajadhipok’s Institute and received his B.Eng. in Industrial from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

 

Prae Piromya

Ms.Piromya is currently a General Manager of the Sustainable Development Office, Central Group, Thailand. Her responsibilities cover group sustainability strategy, budget, implementation, planning & Operation of CSV projects (Environment, Education, Well-Being, Community, Culture), as well as building internal and external stakeholder engagement and collaboration. She is a former Vice President of Sustainability at Pace Development Corporation PLC.; the leader in Thai luxury property and hospitality, and the owner of Dean & Deluca. Ms.Piromya calls herself a Thai design thinker who has passion for sustainability transformation in corporations. She has various experiences related to sustainability management, business development, communication and design thinking. She believes that the private sector has the best capability in driving change for sustainable development in terms of the Circular Economy, participatory democracy, and human capital development through innovative thinking, smart investments, consumer communication, and market-oriented skill development. Ms.Piromya received a Presidential Merit Scholarship to study B.S. in Industrial Design at University of Arts, Philadelphia in USA in 2003. She continued her MBA degree in IMBA Global Entrepreneurship Track at Thammasat University, Thailand.

Prem Bahadur Rana

 

Mr.Rana is Deputy Director of Public Defender Society of Nepal (National Implementing Partner of the International Legal Foundation/ILF-USA). Over the years as a development professional, he has extensive experience in designing, implementing and evaluating projects aimed at promoting governance in Nepal, specifically women’s rights, access to information and access to justice with a local NGO, an INGO and a government agency in Nepal. Mr. Rana has also been a lecturer at a number of colleges teaching on various subjects such as Theories, Approaches and Methods in Rural Development, Good Governance and Participation, Human Rights and Social Justice, Conflict Transformation for Development. Mr.Rana graduated with master’s degree in Social Development, specializing in International Social Development from University of New South Wales and also a Graduate Diploma in Human Rights from University of Sydney in Australia. He also received his B.A. in Development Studies from Kathmandu University and is now studying LL.B. at Tribhuwan University in Nepal.

 

Rittirong Chutapruttikorn

Assistant Professor Chutapruttikorn is currently a Dean of the School of Architecture at Bangkok University in Thailand where he has been working as a full-time lecturer since 2003. As a Dean, he often collaborates with disadvantaged groups, such as persons with disabilities and low-income people. They are vulnerable to poverty and have lesser opportunity to improve their quality of living. Therefore, he establishes the research and design center aiming to use architectural design as a tool to tackle such problems. Apart from teaching in both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, he is also advising several social-enterprise projects, especially in Universal Design and Innovative concept. One of his current research projects is Kluaynamthai Innovative Industries District (KIID) which is aimed to develop Kluaynamthai as Bangkok’s innovative industry zone to attract investors and start-up companies. Asst. Prof. Chutapruttikorn’s Ph.D. is from the School of Architecture, University of Newcastle, UK. He also completed his master’s degree in Interior Architecture at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at Silapakorn University, Thailand.

Roisai Wongsuban

Ms.Wongsuban is currently a Trafficking in Persons Adviser of Australia–Asia Program to Combat Trafficking in Persons. She is also a team leader for an external evaluation of asylum access, legal empowerment and policy advocacy work in Thailand. Over the past ten years, she has been working on Migration Advocacy with the various capacities such as International Organisation for Migration, International Labour Organisation and other International organizations. She has also been a key leader in Thailand’s Migrant Working Group, pushing for policy reform and enforcement on issues such as human trafficking, labour rights, access to justice and refugee protection. She is highly skilled in the areas of legal compliance with government and policy makers, and of regulations and public policies. Ms.Wongsuban was nominated as Australia Young Alumni Thailand in 2015. In 2016, she received the Chevening Scholarship from UK Government to pursue her M.A. in Migration Studies at University of Sussex. It allowed her to address the combination of challenges which has underpinned many initiatives within the humanitarian community over recent years. She also received her Master’s degree in International Development and Environmental Analysis from Monash University and attended Humanitarian Leadership Programme at Deakin University, Australia.

 

Rongrak Phanapavudhikul

Mr.Phanapavudhikul is currently an Executive Vice President (EVP), Head of Legal Affairs Division and Corporate Secretary, the Stock Exchange of Thailand. His work includes promulgating the rules and regulations for all SET members as well as ensuring that those rules and regulations have been strictly followed through imposing the proper penalties on the non-compliant members. Mr.Phanapavudhikul obtained his first bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand. After working as an export sales engineer, he decided to pursue his MBA majoring in Finance and International Business at Chulalongkorn University. Later, he rejoined with his former employer and spent another 5 and a half years working as a sales engineer. In 1998, he took the first step toward his big career change as he applied for a special LL.B. program (Graduate Program) at Thammasat University, Thailand. Upon graduating his law degree, he started his career as a lawyer at Baker and McKenzie Limited (Attorneys at Law). In 2007, he also received his LL.M. in Business Law from Northwestern University, USA. After 10 years of working in the law firm, he received an offer to join as the Head of Capital Market Law Division, General Counsel Group, The Siam Commercial Bank PLC (SCB). His legal practices cover numerous capacities, ranging from the legal counsel, real practitioner, academic lecturer, lawmaker to the quasi-regulator.

Salila Klanreaungseang

Dr.Klanreaungseang is a full-time lecturer in International Law at Rangsit University, Thailand. Prior to her current position, she worked as a legal officer (professional level) at Office of the Privy Council for 15 years and as a visiting lecturer in the International Environmental Law at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Kasetsart University from 2012 to 2014. Dr.Klanreaungseang received her LL.B., LL.M. and LL.D. from Thammasat University. She was also awarded a Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation in Social Sciences in 2014. She was admitted to be a Thai Barrister at Law by Thai Bar Association under the Royal Patronage in 2009. She also attended a one-year Law Practicing Program of the Law Practicing Training Bureau held by Lawyers Council Under the Royal Patronage and the six-month Government Legal Officials Development Program (Fundamental Level) by Office of the Council of State.

 

Sathien Rungthongkhamkul

Mr.Rungthongkhamkul is currently a Judge of the Office of the President of the Supreme Court, supervising the Policy Coordination Division of the Office. For the past three years, he has been responsible for overseas tasks of the Supreme Court President including enhancing judicial cooperation with other countries and implementing policy of the Supreme Court President into actions. Policies implemented in the recent years include rendering justice under the rule of law, decriminalization of drug offence, uplifting standard of opinion writing, setting standard for case report and judgment review for the Regional Office of the Court, etc. Apart from his current position, he also served as a lecturer at Thammasat University on Business Laws and Regulations for Integrated Bachelor and Master Program, on “Emerging Problems in Business Law” for LL.B. Program, and on Business Organization for MBA Program. His judgeship experience allowed him to see practical difficulties in applying laws in the interest of justice. Mr.Rungthongkhamkul obtained his LL.M. from University of Southern California, USA and an LL.B. from Thammasat University, Thailand.

Shusak Janpathompong

Mr.Janpathompong is a registered Landscape Architect & Master Planner in USA and Thailand. His expertise is in physical planning and design. He specifically designs a variety of multidisciplinary projects ranging from large-scale landscape plans to site-scale landscape designs. With over 30 years of professional experience, he has realized that the challenging issues of rural-urban migration, socioeconomic inequality and resource scarcity have been increasingly evident. Mr.Janpathompong obtained his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with Honor from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. After that, he pursued his M.L.A at Cornell University, where he won National ASLA Award of Honor for Excellence in the Study of Landscape Architecture. After completing his Master’s degree in Design Studies, Landscape Planning and Ecology from Harvard University, he has practiced worldwide for 20 years, served as a consultant for both public and private clients worldwide, and taught at universities such as Cornell University, Boston Architectural College, Thammasat University, and currently at Chulalongkorn University and University of Tsukuba, Japan.

Shuxi Yin

Dr.Yin holds his Ph.D. in Economics from University of Tuebingen, Germany, a master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, and a doubled Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Economics from Peking University, China. Dr.  Yin has been working as an Assistant to Bureau Director, Hefei City Bureau for Civil Affairs since 2016. Recently, he works on poverty relief in vulnerable natural environment at grassroots level along the Yangtze River, in the backdrop of China’s national campaign to eliminate absolute poverty by 2020. Having studied abroad, and particularly after growing up in China, he is strongly aware of the importance of poverty reduction and environmental protection. He is also a former assistant to the Bureau Director at the Guangzhou City Bureau of Environmental Protection and an associate director of the Environmental NGO Green Cross in China. Dr.Yin has attended various courses such as Hague Academy for Local Governance Fellowship in 2017, Asian Leaders Fellowship Program (ALFP), Tokyo in 2016, German Research Foundation (DFG) Fellowship, 2010-2013, and Abby and George O’Neill Fellowship of Harvard University in 2009.

 

Siree Jongdee

Ms.Jongdee is a Senior Economist at the Public Debt Management office (PDMO), Ministry of Finance, Thailand. The PDMO is responsible for public sector debt financing which includes the draft of bills and the financing for urgently needed stimulus policies required under unexpected circumstances such as floods and economic crises. Ms.Jongdee has been selected under the High-Performance Potential System, where she has rotated to various divisions. This allows her to have a broad understanding of public financing issues such as debt issuance, negotiation of financial contracts, and risk management. Her current responsibility is the management of State-Owned Enterprise financing and guarantee assessment. Ms.Jongdee holds a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, both fully funded by the Royal Thai Government.

 

Sorawut Norapoompipat

Mr.Norapoompipat is currently the First Secretary, Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. He has joined the Ministry since 2007. Over ten years of experience as a civil servant and a diplomat, he has had the opportunity to work in various offices/departments which include the Office of Policy and Plan, the Department of ASEAN Affairs, and at the Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow. He also participated in Program on Terrorism and Security Studies and Combating Terrorism Language Program, organized by George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies and Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, Germany in 2009. Moreover, he attended an Intermediate Certificate Course: Young Leadership in Democratic Governance (Class 7) at King Prajadhipok’s Institute, Thailand in 2018. Mr.Norapoompipat obtained his B.A. in Southeast Asian Studies and an M.A. in International Relations from Thammasat University, Thailand. After that, he pursued his M.A. in International Studies and Diplomacy, School of Oriental and African Studies at University of London, UK.

Srikar Mysore Sridhar

Mr.Sridhar’s professional experience varies from the international to local, from the international organization to ‘on the ground’ village institutions, interacting with diverse sets of stakeholders, interests and issues in a multicultural setting. He is currently the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes for the Government of Karnataka; overseeing the implementation of GST in Karnataka, India. Prior to this, he served as a legal advisor in the Indian Mission to the WTO and an India’s Lead ‘Trade in Services’ negotiator of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in India. With 19 years of experience working at the international level as well as senior management positions in the Government of India and State, Mr.Sridhar has been involved in various assignments pertaining mainly to policy development and practice, strategic policy advice, administrative governance, a large identity management project and international trade negotiations. As an Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) for 6 years, he was involved in the conceptualization and implementation of one of the world’s most complex and successful biometric technology identity projects which aimed to provide biometric identities to 1.2 billion residents. Mr. Sridhar is a university gold medalist holding a bachelor’s degree in Law from India University.

Sun Win

Mr.Win is currently a Deputy Director of Market Supervision and Surveillance Department, Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Myanmar. At present, he and his team are preparing to set up procedures for taking care of investigating and prosecuting unfair trading and market manipulation. Prior to his current position, he was a Deputy Director of Fiscal Policy, Strategy and EITI Division, Budget Department, Ministry of Planning and Finance in Myanmar for 3 years. After he joined Ministry of Planning and Finance in 2012, he became interested in investigation of surveillance activities in securities market. At that time there was no securities and exchange commission and even securities exchange law in Myanmar. Mr. Win holds a Master and a Bachelor of Economics from Yangon Institute of Economics in Myanmar. Apart from his career, he has been a freelance writer and has published over 20 articles in various local magazines and newspaper since 2000.

 

Sutapa Amornvivat

Dr.Amornvivat is CEO and Founder of SCB Abacus; advanced analytics spin-off by Siam Commercial Bank, applying AI and Big Data technologies to drive purposeful partnerships, create business values, and empower people. Moreover, she has also served as the First Executive Vice President & Chief Economist Head of Economic Intelligence Center (EIC) at SCB since 2010 as well as a Board of Directors of SCB Asset Management Co., Ltd. Dr.Amornvivat is a mathematician by training and a policymaker by vocation. Her professional career in public policy started at a multilateral international finance at the IMF, spanning to Thai fiscal policy at the Thai Ministry of Finance. Apart from her career, she also holds various directorial and advisory positions such as Director of Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS), The Public Sector Audit and Evaluation Sub commission, Director of Association of Capital Market Academy Alumni, etc. Dr.Amornvivat graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), receiving a DPhil in Technology, Management, and Policy and a B.A. in Applied Mathematics / Economics from Harvard University, USA.

Takayuki Fukushima

Mr.Fukushima is currently an Attorney and Deputy Director of the International Affairs Division, Minister’s Secretariat, Ministry of Justice in Japan, where he is mainly responsible for comprehensive and general policy development in international affairs of the Ministry. He has been extensively involved in policy development issues primarily related to legal technical assistance and the United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (the Crime Congress), which is going to be held in Japan in 2020. Mr.Fukushima has been a public prosecutor in Japan for 14 years. He has over 10 years of experience in investigating and prosecuting numerous criminal cases, especially in economic, financial, and white-collar crimes. His experience of investigation in economic crimes over the past 6 years made him interested in corruption and transferred to be a Director of Special Task Division, the Deposit Insurance Corporation; a public body dealing with bank failure and payoff, made me familiar with finance. Mr. Fukushima completed his LL.B. from Nagoya University in Japan in 2003.

 

Thanachai Sundaravej

Mr. Sundaravej is a Founder and CEO of “Cloud Book Publishing”.  He is an experienced children book writers and storytellers in Thailand. After decades as an author, columnist and publisher focusing on child development, he is keenly aware of the inequalities that exist in terms of access to quality education and opportunities for children across Thailand. Since 2015, Mr. Sundaravej has served as an assistant coach for Youth Leader Training Program, the Certificate Course of King Prajadhipok’s Institute. He has been involved with various initiatives including training jobs for handicapped children and finding job placement for ex-prisoners. He has also played a key part in many projects for underprivileged youth as well as physically challenged and mentally challenged children. Moreover, he has organized workshops for children and volunteered as storyteller for kids with special needs. Mr. Sundaravej received his master’s degree in Management Information Systems from University of Illinois, USA and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Thammasat University, Thailand.

 

Thanattzalin Susamawathanakun

Ms.Susamawathanakun is Managing Director of Super Rich (Thailand) Co., Ltd.; a family-owned currency exchange business. Her main responsibilities include leading the company and setting overall strategic direction, ensuring the company policies comply with government policy and regulations, communicating and building relationship with stakeholders, commercial banks, local and international business partners, and authorities as well as acquiring new business partners to facilitate organization development and growth. Prior to that, she also worked as a Citigold Business Development Manager at CITIBANK N.A. Ms.Susamawathanakun received her Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts from Thammasat University, Thailand. After that, she pursued her master’s degree in Business Management from Kingston University, UK and an M.A. in Labour Economics and Human Resource Management from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

Thisana Thitisakdiskul

Ms.Thitisakdiskul, a social entrepreneur and startup founder, is currently a CEO and co-founder of Noburo, the mobile application that helps blue-collar workers get out of debt burden and loan sharks through financial advisory together with financial support (lending benefit). She is also a CEO of ITTP Co., Ltd.; aiming to help small businesses and low-income borrowers better access loans and regain their healthy financial status by fair credit and financial education. Ms. Thitisakdiskul is also a co-founder of “Light me up project”. This project has been set up since 2013 by a team of passionate and smart people across various backgrounds from doctors to engineers. They help design and install solar power systems for unelectrified schools in Thailand and provide outside classroom education which fits to the need of the school such as health and hygiene, career development as well as saving environment. Ms.Thitisakdiskul completed her M.Eng in Technology Management for Innovation from the University of Tokyo and a Bachelor of Computer Software Engineering from Kasetsart University, Thailand.

Tippatrai Saelawong

Mr.Saelawong is a senior researcher at Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), Thailand’s leading independent public policy research think tank. His main responsibility is conducting policy research on various topics on international trade, regulatory reform and anti-corruption policy. As a researcher at TDRI, his primary areas of interest are Political Economy and Institutional Economics. His research topics cover the anti-corruption policy and the assessment of the performance of Thai anti-corruption institutions, press and media reform, and government transparency mechanism and regulation. Since 2013, he has worked closely with Thai anti-corruption agencies, particularly the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), a government corruption watchdog and Anti-Corruption Organization of Thailand (ACT), an advocacy civil society organization. Moreover, he has collaborated with many public agencies such as State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO), Ministry of Finance, and Electronic Government Agency (EGA) to improve good governance and transparency in the public sector. Mr.Saelawong received the Franco-Thai Scholarship to pursue his bachelor’s degree in International Economics and master’s degree in Public Policy and Development from Toulouse School of Economics, University of Toulouse in France.

Tongkarn Kaewchalermtong

Major Dr.Kaewchalermtong is currently a full-time lecturer and a researcher at Civil Engineering Department, Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy. He has also been a lecturer at various renowned universities in Thailand including Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (Master and PhD Programs), Chulalongkorn University, and Srinakharinwirot University.  Furthermore, he has been a Vice President of Thai Intelligent Transport Systems Association (ITS Thailand), Foreign Affairs Committee of the Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. the King’s Patronage, and a committee of Thai Railway Engineering Association. Internationally, he has served as the Executive Education Associate at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (NUS), and as an expert in co-deployment of fiber-optic cables along highway and railway routes in Thailand at Transport Division, Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). Major Dr.Kaewchalermtong holds a PhD in Ocean Engineering and an M.Sc. in Construction Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, USA. He also received his B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Mahidol University, Thailand.

 

Torplus Yomnak

Dr.Yomnak is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. He is passionate about Anti-Corruption Reform and Good Governance. He has passion for fighting corruption since his undergraduate degree and PhD dissertation on Corruption in Thailand. After graduation, Dr.Yomnak co-founded HAND Social Enterprise to implement his academic findings and generate results for further research. After he had joined the Faculty of Economics at Chulalongkorn University, he co-founded SIAM Lab to study corruption from multidisciplinary approaches: economics, legal, political science, education, linguistic, and data analytic, to obtain a wider spectrum of solutions. Moreover, he has conducted various research projects and written academic articles related to Anti-Corruption. Dr.Yomnak graduated from the University of Cambridge, UK, receiving an MPhil and a DPhil in Development Studies. He also received his B.Econ. in Public Economics from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

Udomdech Srimaserm

Mr.Srimaserm is currently an Executive Director of Investment Strategy Office at Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO) and a member of the Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office’s team.  Prior to that, he was appointed as a lead advisor to CEO of Dental Corporation PLC. His responsibility mainly focuses on the company’s strategy and planning. He also spent 6 years working as an Economic and Trade Officer and a market access team member at European Union Delegation to Thailand (EU), where he analyzed the legal environment, challenges, trade issues, and formulated policy recommendation accordingly. One of his achievements was delivering a highly-recognized research paper on the welfare-effect of the potential EU-Thailand Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Mr.Srimaserm completed his M.Sc. in Economics (with Merit) from Warwick University, an M.Sc. in Business Economics (with Merit) from City University in UK, and a B.Sc. in Economics from London School of Economics (Upper Second-Class Honors). Recently, he also earned a Bachelor of Law from Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, Thailand.

Weston Msowoya

Mr.Msowoya is currently an Executive Director of Centre for Community and Youth Development (CCYD) in Malawi. He is also a National Partnership Advocacy Coordinator of Girls Not Brides Malawi. It is a national network consisting of 71 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and traditional leaders to competently influence systemic change to end child marriage through promotion of equality, human rights and child protection frameworks, as well as monitor the implementation and their alignment to international and regional instruments and national laws and policies. In addition, Mr.Msowoya has championed national and grassroots advocacy on law reforms, comprehensive sexuality education and access to contraceptive by women and girls, taken a leading role in national advocacy campaigns on youth development and child rights, and built capacity to hundreds of youths and children on a range of empowerment including economic, human rights, governance and Sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Mr.Msowoya received his degree in Mass Communication, Sociology from ERA- Blantyre Business College in Malawi.

Wipawin Promboon

Dr.Promboon is currently a Deputy Director of the Regulatory Policy Department at the Bank of Thailand (BOT), responsible for supervising the formulation and review of regulatory policies relating to banks’ corporate governance, liquidity and market risk management, and derivatives and driving the integration of regulatory impact analysis into regulatory policy formulation and review process. With over a decade of experience at BOT, she has been rotated to several departments including financial markets, banking supervision, and office of corporate strategy, where she had an opportunity to work on various cross-functional policy initiatives. Apart from her career,Dr. Promboon is also a university lecturer on Business Finance and Risk Management in Financial Institutions. Dr. Promboon received a Bank of Thailand Scholarship to study in the United States, where she received her MBA in Finance from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and a PhD in Finance from Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing (First Class Honors) from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

Wisoot Tantinan

Mr.Tantinan is a Team Leader/Programme Specialist at Democratic Governance and Social Advocacy Unit, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Thailand. He is responsible for various projects to support development acceleration in Thailand and to reduce inequality in upper-income contexts. The projects vary from promoting women and LGBT right, poverty reduction, peace in the Deep South of Thailand, decentralization, mainstreaming disaster risk reduction in development planning, and applying innovation to improve efficiency of public sectors such as public procurement and universal health coverage. Before joining UNDP, Mr.Tantinan has worked in various roles and for various types of organizations including a social protection officer at UNICEF Thailand, a research assistant at ESCAP, a policy specialist at the House Standing Committee on Economic Development, the Parliament of Thailand. While working at UNICEF Thailand, one of his key achievements in public advocacy was a successful advocacy for the first introduction of child support grant in 2015. Mr.Tantinan received the Chevening Scholarship to study towards a master’s degree in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy at the University of Oxford, UK. He also earned a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering and an M.Sc. in Environmental and Natural Resources Economics from Chulalongkorn University, and also a Bachelor in Fiscal Economics from Ramkhamhaeng University, Thailand.

Yong Chul Park

Professor Park is a Professor of Law at Sogang University Law School, South Korea. Most of his research work is comparative legal studies between South Korea and other countries including the United States, England and Japan. As a criminal law/criminal procedure scholar, a major part of his work and study is focused on policy-making in criminal justice system of South Korea and abroad. Moreover, Prof. Park has served as an Executive Director, in charge of international affairs, at The Korean Criminal Law Association and The Korean Association of Criminology. Moreover, he was appointed as an outside expert member of Inspection Mission for Prosecutors Investigation Committee and Fact-Finding Mission Committee at Supreme Prosecutors Office early this year. Prof. Park received his J.S.D. from Cornell University, an LL.M. from The George Washington University Law School, another LL.M. from Cornell University Law School, and an LL.B. from Sogang University, South Korea.

Yutthana Srisavat

Assistant Professor Dr. Srisavat is currently a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Siam University in Thailand, where he researches and teaches Tax and Fiscal Law, International Business Law and Intellectual Property Law. He is particularly interested in tax law, tax & fiscal policy and US tax law. Moreover, Asst. Prof. Dr.Srisavat is also a CEO and a Co-Founder of a tech startup company in Thailand named “iTAX Inc.”, providing tax solutions for individuals. From 2006 to 2007, he was a sub-committee on Public Participation, Constitution Drafting Assembly of Thailand, where he was responsible for managing public hearing campaigns on the Constitution Drafting in the Metropolitan area. After he received a full-tuition scholarship to study his LL.B. (First Class Honors) at Siam University, he obtained his M.A. in Diplomacy and International Studies at Rangsit University, Thailand. In 2009, he pursued his LL.M. and J.S.D. in Taxation at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, USA. His doctoral Dissertation is on the topic of “The Application of General Anti-Avoidance Rule: Should it become an International Tax Doctrine?”.
