Masahiro Ito
May 14, 2019Mr.Ito is currently working as an Attorney of Judicial System Department Minister’s Secretariat, Ministry of Justice, Japan. He has been involved in policy development issues concerning law-related education. He was a former Public Prosecutor (government attorney) in various cities in Japan including Tokyo, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, and Yokohama from September 2008 to July 2017. For nearly a decade as a government attorney, Mr. Ito was in charge of investigations and trials in criminal cases. Engaging in crime investigations of organized crime groups has made him aware of the importance of teaching the value of abiding by the rules at an early stage of children education. Mr.Ito completed Bachelor of Laws in 2005 from Osaka University, Japan.
