Peangpanor Boonklum
May 14, 2019Ms.Boonklum is a Senior Executive Vice President/Group General Counsel, Office of General Counsel at the state-owned energy company, PTT Plc., which is a national energy company. She manages her own team of 50 lawyers at the company and oversees another 70 at whole group of companies. Her role includes advising the chief executives on strategic growth and acquisitions as well as reputation management. Moreover, she also seats in the company’s Management Committee, and serves as a director at GPSC Plc., a power flagship, and at PTT Oil & Retail Marketing Plc., an oil and retail marketing flagship, in PTT Group. Apart from her career, she is a special lecturer for MBA Program at Sasin Business School and a regular speaker on corporate governance matters. Prior to her current position, she was an Executive Partner/Senior Counsel at Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners Ltd. Her areas of expertise were capital markets and M&A. Ms.Boonklum has been recognized by reputable legal publishers, including 2018 FT Global and the Legal 500 GC Powerlist Southeast Asia. Ms.Boonklum obtained her LL.B. and LL.M. in Business Law from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, as well as LL.M. from Columbia University, USA.
