Tongkarn Kaewchalermtong
May 14, 2019Major Dr.Kaewchalermtong is currently a full-time lecturer and a researcher at Civil Engineering Department, Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy. He has also been a lecturer at various renowned universities in Thailand including Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (Master and PhD Programs), Chulalongkorn University, and Srinakharinwirot University. Furthermore, he has been a Vice President of Thai Intelligent Transport Systems Association (ITS Thailand), Foreign Affairs Committee of the Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. the King’s Patronage, and a committee of Thai Railway Engineering Association. Internationally, he has served as the Executive Education Associate at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (NUS), and as an expert in co-deployment of fiber-optic cables along highway and railway routes in Thailand at Transport Division, Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). Major Dr.Kaewchalermtong holds a PhD in Ocean Engineering and an M.Sc. in Construction Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, USA. He also received his B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Mahidol University, Thailand.
